Revenue Shield ("we", "our", or "us") operates the Revenue Shield application and website. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you install our Shopify application, create an agency account, or visit our website at getrevenueshield.com.

No access to customer or order data. Revenue Shield's automated tests simulate a shopper reaching checkout using synthetic sessions. We do not place real orders and do not access your customers' personal or order data. The app does not request Shopify protected customer data scopes and does not require merchant re-authentication for additional data access.

2. Information We Collect

When you install and use Revenue Shield, we may collect the following information:

  • Store information: Your Shopify store name, domain, and store owner email address, as provided by Shopify during app installation.
  • Checkout flow data: Automated test results, screenshots, and console logs generated by our testing agents when monitoring your checkout. These tests simulate customer behaviour and do not process real customer personal data.
  • Usage data: Information about how you interact with the app, including feature usage, test run history, and alert preferences.
  • Contact information: Name and email address if you contact us for support or sign up for communications.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, operate, and maintain the Revenue Shield application
  • Run automated checkout tests and deliver test results and alerts
  • Send you alerts via your configured channels (Slack, email, or SMS)
  • Improve and develop new features
