Agency Portal
The Agency Portal is a centralized monitoring dashboard for agencies and service providers managing multiple Shopify client stores. It consolidates test status, failure alerts, and performance data across your entire portfolio into a single interface.
Overview
Agencies operating more than a handful of Shopify stores face a visibility problem. Each store has its own Revenue Shield installation, its own test suite, and its own alert configuration. Without a unified view, monitoring requires logging into each store individually, which does not scale.
The Agency Portal solves this by aggregating data from all connected stores into one dashboard. You see which stores are healthy, which have recent failures, and which require attention, all without leaving the portal.
Getting Access
The Agency Portal is available on the Agency plan. It is not included in the Free, Starter, or Growth plans, which are designed for individual stores.
To get started with the Agency plan:
- Contact the Revenue Shield sales team through the Settings → Plan page or by email.
- Agency plans use custom pricing based on the number of client stores under management.
- Once your agency account is provisioned, the Agency Portal becomes available in your primary navigation.
Dashboard
The Agency Portal dashboard provides an at-a-glance summary of your entire portfolio. The top section displays aggregate statistics:
- Total Stores — The number of client stores currently connected to your agency account.
- Overall Pass Rate — The aggregate pass rate across all tests on all connected stores over the last 24 hours.
- Total Tests — The combined number of active tests across all stores.
- Failures (24h) — The total number of test failures detected across all stores in the last 24 hours.
The Agency Portal dashboard provides a unified view of all connected stores, with real-time health status and aggregate metrics.
Store Table
Below the summary statistics, the store table lists every connected store with the following columns:
- Store Name — The Shopify store name and myshopify domain.
- Health Status — A status indicator showing whether all tests are passing (healthy), some tests have failed (warning), or critical tests are failing (critical).
- Active Tests — The number of tests configured and running for the store.
- Pass Rate — The store's individual pass rate over the last 24 hours.
- Last Run — The timestamp of the most recent test execution for the store.
The table supports sorting by any column and filtering by health status, allowing you to surface stores that need attention immediately.
Recent Alerts
The dashboard includes a recent alerts section that surfaces the latest failure notifications across all connected stores. Each alert entry displays the store name, the test that failed, the failure timestamp, and a direct link to the test result with full evidence (screenshots, video, trace files).
Store Management
Stores are added to and removed from your agency account through Settings → Stores in the Agency Portal.
Adding a Store
To connect a client store to your agency account:
- Ensure Revenue Shield is installed on the client's Shopify store.
- In the Agency Portal, navigate to Settings → Stores and click Add Store.
- Enter the store's
shop_idor myshopify domain (e.g.,example-store.myshopify.com). - Provide the agency connection code. This code is generated in the client store's Revenue Shield settings under Settings → Agency.
- Once the connection is confirmed, the store's data will appear in your Agency Portal within minutes.
Removing a Store
To disconnect a store, navigate to Settings → Stores, locate the store in the list, and click Remove. This removes the store from your agency dashboard. It does not uninstall Revenue Shield from the client's store or affect their individual monitoring.
Alert Configuration
The Agency Portal supports dedicated notification channels for agency-wide alerts, independent of each store's individual alert configuration.
The Alerts view consolidates failure notifications across your entire portfolio. Filter by store, severity, or time range.
Slack
Configure a Slack webhook URL in Settings → Notifications to receive instant failure notifications in a designated Slack channel. Alerts include the store name, test name, failure summary, and a direct link to the evidence.
SMS
SMS alerts are delivered via Twilio integration. Enable SMS notifications in Settings → Notifications and provide the phone numbers that should receive critical failure alerts. SMS is recommended for high-severity alerts where immediate response is required.
Email notifications are sent to all agency team members based on their notification preferences. Each team member can configure their own email alert settings in their profile. Agency-wide digest emails can be configured to send a daily or weekly summary of all store activity.
Roles and Permissions
The Agency Portal uses a role-based access control system to manage team member permissions:
- Owner — Full access to all portal features, billing, store management, and team administration. Only one owner per agency account.
- Admin — Can add and remove stores, configure alerts, and manage team members. Cannot modify billing or transfer ownership.
- Member — Can view all store data, test results, and alerts. Cannot modify store connections or agency settings.
- Viewer — Read-only access to the dashboard and store data. Cannot access settings or receive alert notifications.
Roles are assigned in Settings → Team. The agency account owner can also grant super admin access, which provides unrestricted access to all stores and settings regardless of role assignment.
Store Detail View
Clicking on any store in the store table opens the store detail view. This provides the same level of visibility you would see when logged into that store's individual Revenue Shield dashboard:
- Test List — All active tests for the store, including OOTB and custom tests, with current status.
- Run History — A chronological log of all test executions, with pass/fail status and timestamps.
- Evidence — Screenshots, video recordings, and trace files for each test run, accessible directly from the detail view.
- Pass/Fail Trend — A visual summary of the store's test results over time, highlighting periods of instability.
The store detail view is read-only from the Agency Portal. To modify a store's test configuration or alert settings, use the store's individual Revenue Shield dashboard.
Getting Started
