We Built the Agency Portal Because Logging Into 15 Shopify Admins Is Not a Strategy
Here is a scene that plays out at Shopify agencies every week: a client emails asking why their conversion rate dropped. The account manager logs into the client's Shopify admin. Everything looks normal. They check analytics. Traffic is fine. They check the theme. No recent changes. Two hours later, someone actually tries to check out and discovers the payment form has been broken since Tuesday.
Four days of lost revenue. No alert. No error in the admin. The store was technically "up" the entire time.
Now multiply that by twelve stores. Or twenty. Or fifty.
The Visibility Problem Nobody Talks About
Every Shopify store is its own island. Its own theme, its own apps, its own checkout configuration. When you are responsible for one store, you can keep an eye on things. When you are responsible for fifteen, you are making a bet every single day that none of them have silently broken.
Most agencies find out about checkout failures the same way: the client tells them. That is not monitoring. That is waiting for bad news.
We kept hearing the same thing from agency partners during our pilot: "Revenue Shield is great for each store, but I need to see all of them in one place."
So we built that.
One Dashboard. Every Store. Real-Time.
The Agency Portal is a single screen that shows the health of every Shopify store your agency manages.
Green means checkout flows are passing. Red means something is broken. There is no ambiguity and no digging through Slack channels to piece together what is happening across your portfolio.
The numbers at the top give you the 30-second briefing: total stores, aggregate pass rate, total active tests, and failures in the last 24 hours. The store cards tell you exactly which stores need attention and when their last test ran.
For most agencies, this is the only screen they check each morning. If everything is green, move on. If something is red, you already have the context to act.
When Something Breaks, You Know in Minutes
The alerts view consolidates every failure notification from every connected store into a single feed. No more checking separate inboxes. No more wondering if that Slack message from the bot was for the fashion client or the skincare brand.
Each alert links directly to screenshots, console logs, and video recordings of the failure. Your team can begin triage in seconds, not hours. And because these are real browser tests running against the live store, the evidence shows you exactly what a customer would see.
Slack and SMS Alerts That Actually Work
Configuration is in Settings. Add a Slack webhook, add a phone number for SMS, and hit the Test button to verify delivery before you rely on it.
The Test button is small but important. We added it because we got tired of the "I set it up but I am not sure it works" conversation. Hit Test. Get the message. Done. You know it works.
Connecting Stores Takes 30 Seconds
Every agency account gets a unique agency code. When Revenue Shield is installed on a client store, you enter the code in the store's settings. The store appears in your portal within minutes. No OAuth, no API keys, no approval workflows.
Offboarding is the same in reverse. Remove the code, the store disconnects from your portal. The store's own monitoring continues independently.
Who This Is For
If you manage five or more Shopify stores and you are currently checking checkout health by logging into each admin individually, or worse, waiting for client complaints, the Agency Portal replaces that workflow entirely.
It is particularly relevant if checkout failures carry reputational or contractual risk for your agency. Which, if you are reading this, they probably do.
Interested? Request a pilot and we will walk you through the portal with your actual stores connected.
